SotaConnect Dialup provides reliable, entry level dial-up Internet access for businesses requiring very occasional use of the Internet. SotaConnect Dialup uses a local call-rate phone number and access can be made from any telephone company within the UK.
SotaConnect Dialup is a subscription-free service, with Internet calls charged by the minute at standard local rates. The typical tariff for use of the SotaConnect Dialup 0845 number is 3.5 pence per minute at peak time, which is week days 8am to 6pm, and 1 pence per minute off-peak, which is weekdays 6pm to 8am, plus weekends.
SotaConnect Dialup is only recommended if Internet access averages less than one hour per day during normal working hours. With higher levels of use it is usually more cost-effective to subscribe to SotaConnect FRIACO or SotaConnect ADSL.
